SALAMANCA:
Salamanca, capital the homonymic province, is located on the peninsular plateau. It's about 115 kilometers from Valladolid, 212 Km from Madrid, Spain's capital, and 417 km from Lisbon, Portugal's capital.

Salamanca can be reached by train, bus, plane or car. The city has bus station, railway station, airport and is connected by the A-66, A-62 and A-50 highways.

The best way to get to Salamanca is to do it via Madrid. There are seven trains per day and buses almost every hour. You can check timetables, book and purchase tickets through the website of the concessionary companies. Renfe for the train and Avanzabus for buses.
